Disgorged Foetus - GOREvisions: The DVD (2005)

Formed in 1996 by Dams (vox + bass) and Nono (drums), Disgorged Foetus record a rehearsal tape with 6 tracks, just for fun. this demo tape isn't official because only few copies are replicated. In 1997, the new demo "Degradation of the Lymphatic Tissue" is available : 8 tracks of intense death GORE carnage with some samples from cult horror & GORE movies (brain dead / texas chainsaw massacre / night of the living dead...). a few copies are sold : around 150.

The band stopped and Dams formed another one : GORESTENCH (brutal old school death metal). always active in the underground extreme metal scene
Disgorged Foetus, the band re-formed with a better musical experience and they give birth in blood of 10 tracks (+ 1 GUT's cover). a pure intense death grind GORE carnage called "The GORE Party" is released in march 2001.

Ultra GORE artwork, scato & GORE lyrics are written and they create a putrid image of musical shocking!!! the professional cd know an incredible explosion through the underground scene (for now there are 2000 cd through the underground scene (first press + re-order) with the great help of a lot of international labels. their label (IMPHALTE Prod. - formed by Dams to promote the band) re-press the cd because it's sold out.

With a new drummer, in octobre 2002, the band release a 3-ways-split cd with a dutch grind band and a german GORE band, the trax from
Disgorged Foetus are enclosed under the title GORY foetal feast.

In novembre 2002, they play at IMPH'AMES Festival with SCARVE, IMPERIAL SODOMY and KRONOS. a real stench of butchery smell good during the show.

After a cancelled show in belgium the band appear on a tribute to GUT in octobre 2003 (pressing by an mexican label : AMERICAN Line Productions).

After several personnal troubles for both members (but life fucking goes on !) the band work without compromise on new tracks and in novembre 2003, they play at the IMPH'AMES Festival 2003 with NOSTROMO (swiss grindcore), FURIA (french death black) and KLONE (french power metal). a great drum sound + a monstruous double bass sound and an inspired new session guitarist give a great show to the fans and others. a video-projector add some GORE feelings to the gig.

During this live performance they record 3 tracks with a professional team with a video camera. the video clips are available on their first DVD 'GOREvisions', they play at the cult Frontline in belgium with INHUMATE / BURIAL / EXTREEM ECZEEM / DESENSITISED the decembre 06th, 2003. the show was recorded for this performance and the first official dvd is released in march 2005. After several personnal disturbances, the drummer left the band and, being hard to find a new one.

Jo (the first guitarist in the band history !) joins the band in summer 2005 for some gigs along with other groups like SCARVE, IMPERIAL SODOMY, KRONOS, INHUMATE, EXTREEM ECZEEM, BURIAL and some live recordings are done. With these archived videos, on 2005 a DVD is released under the sweet name of "GOREvisions".

The group splits in 2006 and reformes in 2017 with Kv on drums, Yn on guitar, and it's orignal frontman : Dams on vocals/bass. This band configuration occured with the release "Born in GORE - tribute to
Disgorged Foetus" by the Mexican label MUCUPURULENT productions, where 27 international bands covered the band in their own style. A video clip is then shot and a rehearsal 4 tracks session is recorded. Named "Putrefying Gangrenous Abscess" MCD (on Mexican label MIERDAS prod).

By the end of 2017, the 2002 line up is newly gathered (Jo, Dav and Dams) to give its first reunion concert at OUTCH! Open Air Festival 2018 with bands as UNLEASHED / ROTTING CHRIST / NOSTROMO / BENIGHTED / BLOCKHEADS and many more.

Since then,
Disgorged Foetus has toured in across Europe (France, Germany, and Netherlands) and especially at the Philosyphilis Deathfest VI in Passau (Austrian border). The band enjoys being on stage and has lots of fun but doesn't forget to compose actively for the new album.
In mid-2020 a split CD was released with OXIDISED RAZOR and PLASMA on the Mexican label DIABLOS Recs and in Europe distributed by IMPHALTE distr. / BIZARRE LEPROUS. It contains 3 new songs + 2 old songs from 1996 brought up to date.

Fall of 2021, Jo left the band following a very busy personal schedule, reduced to 2 members as at the start, the band work on the forthcoming album "obscene utter GORE annihilation". It will be released december 15th, 2023 and it will crush all and the 60 minutes of purulent music will leave the listener in disgusting sweats. A most unhealthy artwork created by MORE THAN GROSS will contain 21 old school Death GORE Grind tracks !
Disgorged Foetus conquering Europe in 23/24 with full GORE destruction in YOUR country and the big next step is NICE TO EAT YOU (Czeq Rep.) in may '24 with GUT, SINISTER, CENTINEX...

Mütiilation - Rattenkönig (2005)

Rattenkönig is the fifth full-length album by French black metal band Mütiilation. The title is a Germanic folkloric tale of rats being attached by the ends of their tails.

Mütiilation was founded in 1991 by Meyhna'ch, drummer Dark Wizard of Silence and bassist David. They recorded a few demos as a trio until 1993, when David left due to Mütiilation becoming the first band of the Black Legions. At this time, Mütiilation released an EP to honor the circle titled Hail Satanas We Are the Black Legions.

Shortly after, Dark Wizzard of Silence was replaced by Krissagrazabeth, who recorded with the band up to Vampires of Black Imperial Blood. Once again, he left due to disagreements with the Black Legions. On the contrary, Mørdrëd, who played bass, was properly admitted into the circle; this line-up was featured in The Black Plague – First Chapter.

Rattenkönig is an introverted journey to a claustrophobic heavy atmosphere.

This album sounds a bit less aggressive than the previous one as it's more based on paranoia feelings, isolation and mental downfall.

Sweetest Devilry + Broken Hope + Immolation -|- Sala Berlín, Ourense (Esp)

Sweetest Devilry is a franco-russian band of blackened Melodic Death Metal composed of five members founded in 2012.

Discography:

 - Funny Human Race [EP] (2012)
- Wrong Turn (2015)

Brought forth in 1988, Broken Hope was the brainchild of guitarist/chief-lyricist-songwriter, Jeremy Wagner. Though Jeremy was still attending High School, his passion and drive for bringing the band out of obscurity was apparent from the start. In 1989 and 1990, Broken Hope recorded two demo tapes which landed them a deal with the underground label, Grind Core records. In 1991, Broken Hope spewed forth their debut album, Swamped In Gore, which subsequently launched the band out of the underground and into the mainstream. Swamped In Gore was not only ahead of its time musically but it was also the first digitally recorded Death Metal album yet again showing the forward thinking of the then fledgling act.

By 1993, Broken Hope broke away from their first record label and quickly was immediately approached by Metal Blade Records. Broken Hope released four albums with Metal Blade Records: The Bowels of Repugnance, Repulsive Conception, Loathing, and the re-release of Swamped In Gore. 1995’s Repulsive Conception, reached CMJ New Music Monthly‘s Metal Top 25 chart, as did the follow-up, 1997’s Loathing.

The first four albums are stellar examples of the fury and sheer brutality possessed by Broken Hope, and is also the albums that etched Broken Hope’s place in Death Metal history. The first decade for the band was filled with non-stop writing, touring, and constant visibility with each album. Broken Hope’s music has received praise from bands such as SLIPKNOT, DEVILDRIVER, THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, DYING FETUS and many more.

By the end of the ‘90’s, Broken Hope produced and released their fifth album: 1999’s, Grotesque Blessings. After North American and European, BH founder—Jeremy Wagner—cleaned house and put Broken Hope into “metal hibernation” in 2002.

In 2007, Broken Hope’s original Loathing lineup sat down face-to-face to discuss reuniting and doing a world tour. Due to personal scheduling conflicts, the guys were unable to make anything happen after this special meeting.

On January 20, 2010, original Broken Hope vocalist Joe Ptacek committed suicide. He was only 37 years old. Before his death, Ptacek met with Jeremy Wagner and Shaun Glass and discussed the resurrection of Broken Hope. With Ptacek’s death, Wagner and Glass took time off to reconsider their next moves.

In 2012, Jeremy Wagner resurrected Broken Hope and vowed to make the band a full-time monster—forever. Broken Hope made their long awaited return to the realm of Death Metal on the highly successful Carnival of Death tour. BH’s high-intensity COD live offerings received top-praise, and confirmed that not only was Broken Hope back, they were also more rabid than ever.

The band went on to perform at the 2013 editions of Extremefest (Germany) and Maryland Death Fest to stellar reviews which leads us to a new chapter in the annals of Broken Hope.

In 2013, Broken Hope put pen to paper and signed a worldwide deal with Century Media Records. Their sixth album, OMEN of DISEASE, released in October 2013 release. OMEN of DISEASE opened with a big first week, hitting #2 most-added at US radio, nearly breaking into the top 10 at CMJ, and with the track “Womb Of Horrors” added as a Flavor Track at Music Choice. OMEN of DISEASE also dropped with nearly 1,100 copies sold in its first week of release.

Trevor Strnad of THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER makes a guest appearance on backing vocals for the track, “Rendered Into Lard,” and OMEN of DISEASE also features the artwork and return of Broken Hope’s former (and brilliant) album cover artist, Wes Benscoter (SLAYER, KREATOR, MORTICIAN plus many more).

Broken Hope has supported OMEN of DISEASE with non-stop touring over the last year-and-a-half with tours including DEICIDE, IMMOLATION, OCEANO, and festival appearances at BRUTAL ASSAULT, NEUROTIC DEATHFEST, OBSCENE EXTREME, and more.

Recently overhauled their lineup with the addition of Matt Szlachta (ex-CHIMAIRA) on lead-guitars, and bassist, Diego Soria (Disgorge).

Broken Hope
finished their FIRST-EVER “HEADLINE” TOUR across EUROPE last April (2015) and appeared at the OBSCENE EXTREME CZECH and MONTREAL editions.

In September 2015, released their first-ever Live Concert Blu-Ray DVD and Live Album package via CENTURY MEDIA RECORDS. Directed by Tommy Jones (SLAYER, LAMB of GOD, DEATH ANGEL), this Live Concert combo titled, “LIVE DISEASE at BRUTAL ASSAULT,” the Live Blu-Ray and CD capture Broken Hope’s intense and bludgeoning headline set in front of 25,000 fans. The Live CD hit #5 on CMJ’s LOUD ROCK/METAL charts the first week of release with DJ’s and reviewers collectively praising “LIVE DISEASE” as one of the greatest sounding Live CD’s and greatest visual Concert DVD’s in extreme metal.

Broken Hope released their 7th studio album, “MUTILATED and ASSIMILATED,” on June 23rd 2017. This album is their strongest, most citically-acclaimed release to date and has garnered new-perfect scores in METAL HAMMER UK, DECIBEL MAGAZINE, KERRANG! ROCK HARD (DE), SPARK (CZ), and many more.

Immolation was founded after the demise of Rigor Mortis (NY), a band formed in May 1986 by Andrew Sakowicz (bass guitar, vocals) Dave Wilkinson (drums), and Robert Vigna (guitar). After recording the Decomposed and Warriors of Doom demos, Sakowicz left the band in early 1988 and was replaced by Ross Dolan, and the band's name was changed to Immolation. The new lineup put out two studio demos, in 1988 and 1989, and gained a worldwide following in the underground death metal scene. Immolation signed a record deal with Roadrunner Records and released their debut album Dawn of Possession in 1991. After leaving Roadrunner, the band released "Stepping on Angels," a compilation of demo releases and live tracks. In 1995 the band was signed by Metal Blade Records and released three albums: Here in After, Failures for Gods, and Close to a World Below. After their second album, drummer Craig Smilowski left the band and was replaced by Alex Hernandez. Their next three albums, Unholy Cult, Harnessing Ruin, and Shadows in the Light were released by French label Listenable Records and Century Media in the US.

In May 2001, Immolation were the headliners for a tour in Europe with supporting bands: Deranged, Deströyer 666, Decapitated and Soul Demise. Unholy Cult saw the departure of guitarist Thomas Wilkinson and the addition of ex-Angelcorpse guitarist Bill Taylor. Steve Shalaty replaced Hernandez on Harnessing Ruin. In February 2008, Immolation toured the US alongside bands such as Rotting Christ, Belphegor and Averse Sefira. In January and February 2010, the band toured with headliner Nile along with Krisiun, Rose Funeral, and Dreaming Dead.

In March 2010, Immolation released Majesty and Decay through Nuclear Blast. In 2011, they released the 5-track Providence EP through Scion A/V as a free download. In May 2013, Immolation released Kingdom of Conspiracy, again via Nuclear Blast, and toured with Cannibal Corpse and Napalm Death on a tour sponsored by Decibel Magazine. At the end of 2016, Bill Taylor left the band for personal reasons, and was replaced by Alex Bouks. In 2017 Immolation released their tenth full-length album Atonement.

Deathspell Omega - Si Monumentum Requires, Circumspice (2004) Repress [2015]

French black metal band formed in 1998 in Poitiers. The demo Disciples Of The Ultimate Void was released by Drakkar Productions in 1999. Initially, Deathspell Omega produced raw, traditional black metal akin to Darkthrone's Transilvanian Hunger. However, their 2004 release, Si monvmentvm reqvires, circvmspice, marked a change to a vastly more technical, experimental, and well-recorded sound featuring such musical influences as Russian Orthodox chanting and choral music. Their lyrical content deals primarily with Satanism on a metaphysical level  as the band has stated that "all other interpretations of Satan are intellectually invalid" and other various theological topics. They have also released a trilogy of concept albums which focus on the theological aspects of God, Satan and man's relationship with the two.

The band's work after Si Monumentum Requires, Circumspice has been even more experimental and technical, with their output in 2005, Kénôse, "Mass Grave Aesthetics" and "Diabolus absconditus" totaling nearly eighty minutes in length, longer than Si Monumentum Requires, Circumspice.

There is little to no concrete information about Deathspell Omega's lineup, they do not have any official website, social media platform or promotional photos, have never performed live and do not list credits in their releases. Finnish musician Mikko Aspa is most commonly cited as the vocalist. It is known that Hirilorn vocalist Shaxul was Deathspell Omega's vocalist until 2002, and has gone on record as leaving due to displeasure with the band's shift in themes.

Early interviews were deeply critical of the black metal scene, and the last interview they agreed to until 2019 was conducted by their North American label The Ajna Offensive, with questions and answers sent through the band's exclusive label, Norma Evangelium Diaboli, to preserve their identity. In a 2018 interview with Loudwire, Tobias Forge, lead singer of the band Ghost, stated that the French synthwave artist Carpenter Brut (Franck Hueso) was Deathspell Omega's producer.

Bloody Sign was formed in Alsace, France in 1995 with a vision of playing pure unabashed darkened death metal.

The band has decided to split up after 15 years of devotion to death metal. Bass/vocalist Hagend left the band in early December 2010, which leaded Ilmar & Kalevi both founders of the band to dissolve, rather than looking for a replacement.
