Disavowed - Perceptive Deception (2001)

 

Due to the aggravation of an old wrist-injury suffered by Robbert Vrijenhoek, the band were temporarily forced to cease activity while they searched for a replacement before deciding on Dirk Janssen of Despondency in mid-2005. However, as of January, 2006, Robbert Vrijenhoek decided to leave Disavowed permanently as no progress had been made as regards his wrist injury. While the band planned to work with Dirk Janssen (only in concert situations) until May, 2006, a permanent replacement, in Frenchman Romain Goulon (Imperial Sodomy, Monument of Misanthropy, etc) was subsequently found.

Joel Sta was a member back when they were called Nocturnal Silence and appeared on the band's demo 'Plateau' having a hand in writing some of the songs. He also created the bands logo.

Ravencult - Armageddon Rising 7''EP (2007)

 

Originating from Athens, Greece, Ravencult was spawned to revive the relentless side of Black/Thrash Metal, bringing forth an unpolished, organic sound to manifest their morbid darkness.
Formed in 2001, they initially unleashed a series of demo/7’’EP releases, gaining their ground in the underground scene and forming their sound with a strong mark of mediterranean Black Metal.

Per Yngve Ohlin (Estocolmo, 16 de enero de 1969 - Noruega, 8 de abril de 1991), también conocido como Dead fue un músico sueco, que fundó en 1986 a banda de death metal Morbid, y desde 1988 hasta su muerte el líder y cantante de la banda de Black Metal Mayhem. Durante los primeros años después de su muerte se convirtió en una de las más grandes figuras de culto de la escena europea de Black Metal.

Machetazo & Ribspreader - Untitled / Dead As Fuck [Split 7''EP] (2007)

 

-Machetazo se formaron en La Coruña en 1994 como proyecto paralelo de otro par de bandas death metal de la zona. Inicialmente eran más noisecore que grindcore. Graban dos demos, "46 cabezas aplastadas por un yunque oxidado" en 1995, y "Realmente Disfruto Comiendo Cadáveres" en 1997. Esta última les vale un gran reconocimiento internacional, y es reeditada en 1999 por el sello Fudgeworthy Records de Estados Unidos. Utilizan como intro para sus canciones, cortos de películas como ya lo hicieran otros como Mortician o Impétigo, un recurso no muy utilizado en la actualidad. Es entonces cuando Machetazo dejan de ser un proyecto paralelo para convertirse en una banda estable, aunque problemas de formación les obligan a permanecer como dúo. El logo de la banda fue diseñado por Chris Reifert (Autopsy).
 

 -Ribspreader was formed in June of 2002 by Rogga Johansson and Andreas Karlsson, both also of Paganizer. Their debut album features the famous Swedish musician and producer Dan Swanö on drums and lead guitar. All albums are or will be out on Vic Records.

Brujería - Marijuana [EP 1997]

Brujería se formó en una fiesta en el año 1990. Sus integrantes, liderados por Juan Brujo, utilizaron nombres supuestos, ya que la mayoría de ellos eran miembros de otros conocidos grupos de metal. El mismo año editaron su primer single, "Demoníaco", y dos años más tarde otro titulado "Machetazos".
Fue polémica la portada de su primer disco de larga duración, Matando Güeros (1993), en la que se veía una cabeza medio quemada y una mano sosteniéndola del pelo. Posteriormente, la imagen de esta cabeza se convertiría en un emblema de la banda, transfigurándola en su mascota conocida como Coco Loco (idea similar al Eddie de Iron Maiden). Gracias a este disco y a los rumores que generó, Brujería se hizo más popular. En 1994 tras la muerte de Pablo Escobar, publicaron un nuevo single: "El Patrón", en referencia al apodo del famoso narcotraficante.
En 1995 editaron su segundo larga duración, Raza Odiada, con la temática habitual pero con importantes cambios en su música. Dos años después apareció el single "Marijuana", con el tema homónimo (cover-parodia de " La Macarena" de Los del Río) y otras cuatro canciones en vivo. En 1999 vio la luz "Spanglish lol" , protestando contra el predominio del inglés.

Embalada en una bolsa de plástico con fósforos y una pegatina Brujería.

Dissenter - Contamination (2003) Reissue [2004]

 

Dissenter was formed in late 1996 after the dissolution of  Bloodlust, formed by "Siwy" (guitar), "Młody" (drums), "Garbaty" (bass, vocals) and "Heter" (guitar).
 In 1997 the band recorded their first demo entitled Moral Insanity. 
 The third album entitled Contamination was released in 2003. In Europe recordings released outbuilding Cold Blood Industries, while in Poland the album was re-released by Empire Records.

Xerión - Escarnio, Maldizer E Morte (2016)

 

Xerión was founded in the spring of 2001 after its founder, Nocturno, left his previous band REGNVM IRAE (first Galician's Black Metal band).
The lyrics are in the Galician Language. Galicia is situated in the northwestern part of the Iberian Peninsula and has many Celtic influences, as seen in Xerión's lyrics.

Moonblood - Supreme Black Force of German Steel + Für Dem Sieg

Moonblood was a black metal band from Schneeberg, Saxony, Germany, formed in 1994. They were previously known as Demoniac.
Demoniac evolved from the death metal band Purulent Obdution (1990-1993) which had members Occulta Mors, Necromaniac and L.O.N.S. Blacksoul (later Gaamalzagoth, real name: Mirko Schmat) joined in mid 1993. In January 1994 Necromaniac and L.O.N.S. had been kicked out and later formed Andras while the remaining members continued as Moonblood after releasing the only Demoniac-demo that was recorded still together in autumn/late 1993 (second demo comes from VHS rehearsal audio rip.).
The band only released vinyls and cassettes, Any CD pressings are bootlegs. Moonblood have recorded over 13 rehearsal tapes that at no time were any official releases and they're only done for the band members to recall their songs since there was never a usual rehearsal possible with one guy playing all instruments and they've only recorded their songs to remember for future studio sessions. A few tapes/recordings might have been spread to friends and due to massive tape trading activities of one of the members but those were the only copies that were spread among the tape trader scene.
Moonblood has split up; however, it is not known when the band actually broke up. Their last demo "Dusk Woerot" was released in 2003. Recorded in September 2000, the band was officially already dead when this recording has been done.

Slayer ‎- God Hates Us All (2001)

 

It was recorded in three months at The Warehouse Studio in Canada, and includes the Grammy Award-nominated "Disciple". The album is the band's last to feature drummer Paul Bostaph until Repentless (2015). Guitarist Kerry King wrote the majority of the lyrics, taking a different approach from earlier recordings by exploring topics such as religion, murder, revenge and self-control. Limiting the lyrics to subject matter most could relate to, King wanted to tackle realistic themes. The band experimented; recording most of the album in C# tuning, with three songs in drop B, while two others were played with seven-string guitars in B♭.
God Hates Us All was originally intended to be named Soundtrack to the Apocalypse. However, Araya suggested that the title would be better used for a box set, which the band released in 2003.
