Beer Mosh - Pesadilla [ep] (1992)

 

 Beer Mosh fue un grupo de Bilbao de Thrashcore. Debutaron en 1991 con su primera maqueta ''Más Cerveza'' que pasó bastante desapercibida siendo más conocidos a raíz de su segunda demo ''Moskeado, editada por el sello DDT en formato tape que contando con 11 temas muy influenciados por el Punk. Por aquel entonces la formación estaba compuesta por Javi Martínez a la batería, Iñaki como cantante y bajista, Suso y Tito a las guitarras.
En su gira ''Moshkeado Tour 91+1'' graban un álbum en directo, que lleva ese mismo nombre, también editado por DDT Records, de nuevo en tape. Le seguiría el ep ''Pesadilla'', en 1992 editado por el sello Overdrive.
En 1993 graban su primer larga duración ''A Todos Los Cerdos Les Llega Su San Martín'' que contó con la colaboración de Suso, que por aquella ya había dejado la banda. Es un trabajo producido por Gor Records.
En 1996 graban su último trabajo “Injusta Prisión”. En este trabajo la banda se pasa a un sonido muy sucio y afilado, directo al grano, típico de los noventa. Más tarde el sello desapareció y la banda se disuelve.
Tocaron con bandas como Tankard, Ratos de Porao, S.A. … Muchos de los músicos que estuvieron en esta buena banda siguieron activos en diferentes bandas. Kike Mora fue su último bajista estuvo en los Txozas. Roberto Crespo, su guitarrista pasó por los Ayamá. Su último batería Javi Martinez, tocó con los In Thousand Lakes, el bajista Adolfo tocó con los Vhaldemar, o el guitarrista Javi García que pasó por Soziedad Alkoholika.
Siempre fue una banda muy inestable con numerosos cambios de formación.

Beer Mosh - Moshkeado Tour 91+1 (1992)

 

Beer Mosh was a Thrashcore group created in Bilbao, Basque Country in 1990, the band had several line-up changes but its frontman Iñaki was at the helm. They debuted in 1991 with a demo titled “Más Cerveza” and "Moshkeado". The band released "Moshkeado Tour 91 + 1" and “Pesadilla” (Overdrive, 92) in 1992 and was followed by their two full albums "A Todos los Cerdos les Llega su San Martín" (Gor 93), "Injusta Prisión" (Boa, 96). The band broke up in 1996.

Aspid - Energía Interior (1996)

 Aspid founded in 1989, was one of the surviving bands of extreme sound that was so successful during the nineties, albums like "Oscura Reflexión" (1989), "Imágenes de Dolor" (1994) or "Energía Interior" (1996) represent no longer only the three albums with which the band began its extensive and long career, but rather the sound of a time when it was playing to break the mold and reorient the metal that was made in the peninsula towards much more creative and daring horizons.

With this first stage Aspid closed, the process that culminates in this new album "MusA", with the release of their compilation album "X" (1999) celebrating its first ten years of existence and restructuring the group at the same time. A new rebirth of the band is evident, being able to speak of a before and after in the group's career.  

The band originally split in March, 2005. It was reactived in February 2016 as Aspid: Imágenes de Dolor as a reference to their debut album. This reunion lasted until December, 2017.

Besatt - Diabolic Altar [ep] (2010)

 

 Besatt has been formed in 1991 as initiative of Beldaroh - bass, Weronis - guitar and Dertalis on drums to spread satanic ideas by the music. In the year 1992 band releases their first reh ever - "Ares". Four years later the first studio album appears. Demo titled "Czarci Majestat" (Devil's Majesty). After that Besatt regulary releases more albums and plays many concerts not only in Poland but all over the world. During that time the band lineup often changes and to this day band leader Beldaroh is the only member who remained from the very begining.

Incantation - Entrantment of Evil [ep] (1990) Remastered [2015]

 

Entrantment of Evil was first released in 1990 on 7" vinyl by Seraphic Decay Records and then by Relapse Records a year later, again on 7" vinyl. 

Although primitive compared to Incantation's later works, its hammering attack is deliberately that way, and works to its advantage in creating an atmosphere of evil and unease. The record is also remarkable for featuring Mortician's Will Rahmer on vocals - the only Incantation he appears on, in fact. Included in this 12" vinyl pressing is an exclusive bonus track, and silkscreened art on side B.

All of the tracks here build a foundation for future Incantation.

Adhur es una palabra vasca que significa "fuerza mágica" y está relacionada con la luna, y personificada por la diosa Mari. Eate, fundador de la banda, elegió este nombre porque define su necesidad de expresar el significado real de su ser y su relación con el ancestral mundo vasco a través de la música. Más tarde, Egoitz de Aiumeen Basoa, se unió a la banda, quedando establecida como sigue:

⛧Eate: voz, guitarras, percusión.
⛧Egoitz: bajo, teclados.

Su primera grabación fue para el split compartido "Triarchy of Vasconia". Las tres canciones grabadas para este CD hacen referencia a la mitología vasca y a su cosmovisión, y cada una de ellas está íntimamente relacionada con este hecho. "Sua" (fuego) significa creación, el comienzo, y al mismo tiempo es la primera canción. La siguiente, "Akelarreko Batzarra" (la reunión del aquelarre), trata del retorno de los legítimos dueños de la tierra, los dioses reales, y la mención al aquelarre representa la germinación de la semilla, pues los aquelarres son rituales de fecundación de la diosa Mari, la más importante en la mitología vasca. La tercera canción, llamada "Iluno" (oscuridad) es una antigua palabra encontrada en una tumba vasca prehistórica escrita en euskera antiguo. Habla sobre la muerte de esta persona y su conversación con la diosa Mari, que está personificada en la luna. Así, el ciclo finaliza con el nacimiento, la fertilidad y la muerte: el ciclo natural de la vida.

Los pioneros del Pagan Folk Metal Vasco Aiumeen Basoa (Bosque de los Lamentos en lengua vasca) fue creado en 1994 por los siguiente componentes: Egoitz (bajo y teclados), Beleak (guitarra y voz), Mikelot (guitarra y voz) y Belainotz (batería). Más tarde entraron a formar parte del grupo, Paul (instrumentos de viento), Herio (teclados), Ibone (voz) y Aitor (violín). De esta manera la banda consiguió una formación completa y estable. Grabaron un CD promocional de 3 canciones que finalmente vió la luz en un split llamado “Triarchy of Vasconia / Iluntasunaren itzulera” junto con otros dos bandas de metal pagano vasco Adhur e Ilbeltz, y publicada en 1999 por el sello español War is Imminent. Tras esta publicación, la banda sufrió un largo período de cambios en la formación, lo que produjo un letargo momentaneo en las actividades de la banda . Sin embargo, el núcleo principal de la banda nunca dejó de componer y finalmente entró a formar parte de la banda Fory (Batería), Ibai (Teclados y Acordeón), Oihane (Voces) e Imanol (Violin). En el álbum debut de Aiumeen Basoa, podrás encontrar melodías del Folk Vasco aderezado con metal extremo, con muchos cambios de ritmos, mezclados con una gran variedad de instrumentos y arreglos. Tras la influencia de la música tradicional vasca, también aparecen influencias del black metal noruego como Ulver o In the Woods. La mezcla de estos ingredientes hacen de Aiumeen Basoa una de las bandas actuales más originales de la escena del metal. Con una fuerte base de Folklore y Mitología vasca, la decisión de cantar en Euskara o lengua vasca, fue obviamente natural.

 

Ilbeltz nació en Donostia (San Sebastián, País Vasco) hacia 1995/96, cuando dos amigos se fueron a fumar un cigarrillo tirados al campo, en lugar de ir a clase, en una mañana soleada. Cuando regresaron a clase, la banda estaba formada por cuatro miembros, el nombre vino más tarde. Mezclan toques de heavy, folk, y black metal para crear un sonido único. Comenzaron a tocar en conciertos tan pronto como tuvieron suficientes canciones, aunque apenas podían afinar sus instrumentos. Solían ensayar y tocar conciertos siempre que era posible, hasta alrededor de 1998/99, cuando la banda sufrió un cambio según los miembros.

 -Grabaron dos temas para el disco ''Iluntasunaren Itzulera (Triarchy of Vasconia)'' en 1999, con otras dos bandas, Adhur y Aiumeen Basoa. Después, hasta 2010, no tocaron conciertos, ni grabaron discos, aunque Ibai Mendinueta siempre siguió componiendo canciones. 

-En 2010 grabaron el disco ''Auskan Gabiltz Olatun Gainian (1598 Potrobizargorri I)''. 

-En 2011 grabaron un tema largo para un split CD llamado "D'Anjou en Vasconie: La tres grande chasse d'Hellequin". Su canción se llama: "Gabaren babes tenkian Burdibagaz haraindi". Este CD dividido se comparte con estas dos bandas: Hanternoz (Britanny) y Anceisural Eritance (Anjou). Lanzado en 2012.
