Analepsy -|- 2019.04.26 SWR Barroselas Metal Fest XXII

Analepsy is a Portuguese Slamming Brutal Death Metal band formed in late 2013 by the ex-vocalist Ricardo Proença and the guitarist Marco Martins.
Later, the bassist Flávio Pereira joined and after some research, the drummer Tiago Correia and lead guitarist Diogo Santana joined the band too.

The band's popularity came with the single, “Genetic Mutations”, released in early 2014.
In May 2015, the band released their debut EP named “Dehumanization by Supremacy” through Vomit Your Shirt (Portugal) and Rotten Cemetery Records (Chile).

Around mid 2016 Ricardo had to leave the band due to personal issues and Diogo Santana became the singer continuing as lead guitarist.

With new material, the band started recording its first full-length album “Atrocities From Beyond” in the beginning of 2016, which was released worldwide via Vomit Your Shirt and Rising Nemesis Records (Germany) in january 2017.

Later that year, Analepsy accepted an invitation from Kraanium to release a split CD entitled "The Kraanialepsy Split" that was released in july 2017 through Rising Nemesis Records.
