Satanic Warmaster - Carelian Satanist Madness (2005)

 

Satanic Warmaster is Werwolf (Lauri Penttilä), formed in 1998.

The band's name comes from the title of a 1994 demo by Lord of Evil.

Werwolf maintains that Satanic Warmaster is not a national socialist black metal (NSBM) band. In a 2014 Q&A, he stated that the lyrics in his music have never concerned racism or white supremacy as a focal theme in any of his songs.

The title of this album refers to Absurd's Thuringian Pagan Madness.

A digital instrumental version of the album was released in the band's Bandcamp page in December 18, 2016.

Recorded during March and April 2005 Anno Satanas, using four analogue tracks.
