Unnatural - Throne Of Anguish [EP] (1997)

Unnatural was active 1992-1998. It brought together members of such bands as Sepulcro, Caustic, Detestor and Fermento.

Unnatural is considered one of the best Death Metal bands in Spain. Its history goes back to the band Detestor in 1990 where Miguel, Sonia and Franco were already active, who decided to start a new musical stage in 1992 with the name of Unnatural, thus beginning their first recordings such as the promos published in 1992 and 1993 that woke up the Javier Abreu's Man Records interest to embark on the mythical shared “Avowals” of 1994 with Dismal and Absorbed. Unnatural began to arouse the interest of both national and international media since this band stood out with that twisted Death Metal in a line purely to Gorguts and Immolation (early times), another 95 promo arrived and the renowned "False Light Garden" from 1996 where They were already raving about them, the icing on the cake came in 1997 with the acclaimed EP “Throne of Anguish”. Unnatural were among the national elite and suddenly the gang disbanded in 1998 without explanation. In 2004 Burning Dogma released a compilation with his best material on the CD "Life".

Avulsed - Carnivoracity (1995) + Stabwound Orgasm (1999) + Yearning for the Grotesque (2003)

Avulsed is without any doubt the most veteran and constant band in the Spanish extreme Metal scene since its inception in August '91. Being the most active band in terms of releases (despite of not being a very prolific band) and live performances around the world and never even taking a small break ever since always being loyal to their Death Metal style.

The band has been developing its musical style through various demos ("Embalmed in Blood"-'92, "Deformed Beyond Belief"-'93 and "Promo'95") a 7"EP ("Carnivoracity"-'94) which was later re-released as a mini CD ("Carnivoracity") until they recorded their debut album ("Eminence in Putrescence"-'96) through Repulse Rec. where the band showed its pure Death Metal sound mixing up both heavy & brutal riffs with melodic parts being the very first spanish extreme Metal (Death, Black, Grind...) band to get a deal with not only one, but two foreign labels in the year '93 for the release of their 7"EP and split 12"LP that were released in '94.

With "Cybergore"-'98 the band proved that there's no boundaries in music and mixed extreme Techno with their traditional Death Metal guitar sound & vocals. In April '99 a colombian label offered the band to release all their demos and unreleased rare recordings on CD ("Seven Years of Decay"-'99).

The second album ("Stabwound Orgasm"-'99) was recorded at Spacelab Studios located in Kempen (Germany) to secure a first-class production and was mastered by James Murphy in California. Again released by Repulse Rec., this album doubled in sales to its predecessor and was licensed by various labels in South-America (Sylphorium), USA/Canada (World War III) and Russia (IronD). In January 2001, the band entered the studios again, this time with producer Roberto Galán, known for his job as sound engineer of the biggest alternative Metal band in Spain HAMLET to record 4 cover songs for different tribute albums which were finally put together as a self'financed MCD ("Bloodcovered"-'01) in a very limited run of 500 copies available only through the band.

In August '02, the band travelled again to Germany's Spacelab Studios to record their 3rd album "Yearning for the Grotesque" which came out in Feb.'03 through italian label AvantGarde Music after countless delays and resulting on a very dissapointing work from the label which caused a premature termination of their contract requested by the band in order to be able to find a more suitable label.

The band's 4th full-length album "Gorespattered Suicide" was recorded in Madrid at VRS Studios and the masters were later sent to Erik Rutan (HATE ETERNAL/ ex-MORBID ANGEL) who mixed & mastered the album at his own Mana Recording Studios at Florida being released in January '05 by Slovakian label Metal Age Prod. Being followed by a tour in Japan (April '05), European fests like London DeathFest, Obscene Extreme (Czech Rep.), Uncover Train Fest (Paris), plus a completeEuropean tour (15 shows/11 countries) as headliners together with Italian Grinders GRIMNESS 69.

"Reanimations"-'06 was released by Xtreem Music and shortly after also by Metal Age Prod. It included two new songs, a new version from a 1st demo song, 3 covers songs (WASP, GOREFEST & EXODUS), plus 8 bands doing covers from Avulsed songs. September '07 sees the first official DVD release by Avulsed with the "Reanimating Russia 2007", recorded in Moscow in June '07 during the band's second Russian tour, and released by Coyote Rec.

After 3 years touring and doing fests, like Mexico '06, Russia '06 and '07, Bringer of Death (Ger), Neurotic Death Fest (Hol), Italia '07, Kaltenbach Open Air (Aus), Mountains of Death (Swi), among many others, Avulsed focuses on their upcoming 5th full-length album "Nullo (The Pleasure of Self-Mutilation)"-'09 recorded in Madrid at Room 101 Studios between October '08 and May '09 with Javier Fernández (THE HERETIC/ NEXUS 6) as engineer and producer together with the band, resulting the most aggressive, straight, and complete work in Avulsed career, including all the defining elements for the brutal, catchy, intense and heavy Death Metal that is already the genuine band's trademark!! Including the sick art and design from Mike Hrubovcak (Grave, Monstrosity, Mortician, Cattle Decapitation...). This album was simultaneously released in June '09 through Xtreem Music & Metal Age Prod. in Europe, Coyote Rec. in Russia and will see upcoming releases by Ibex Moon Rec. in the US, American Line Prod. in Mexico/Central America and Sylphorium for the south American territory.

Regarding live performances, Avulsed has gained a strong reputation as one of the most intense, aggressive & ferocious bands on stage. Over 500 live appearances around the planet where the band has performed six full European Tours (w/SINISTER-'96, w/INCANTATION-'97 and as headliners in '05,'09, '15 & '17) and even crossed the Atlantic Ocean 6 times already to play 2 shows in Colombia (Oct. '11), 2 in Venezuela (Sept.'99), a 12-dates tour as headliner through central America (May'00) in countries like USA/California (2), Mexico (4), Guatemala (2), El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua & Costa Rica and to play on the 3rd Metal Meltdown Festival in USA/New Jersey (Apr.'01) and IX Maryland Deathfest (May.'11) as well as a full 9-shows tour in Mexico '06 and 2 shows in Japan '05 and 4 Russian tours ('06/'07/'09/'11). The band has shared stage with over 1.300 bands from big acts like IRON MAIDEN, SLAYER, OZZY OSBOURNE, LAMB OF GOD or NAPALM DEATH to the most underground ones, you name it!

In 2011, Avulsed performed some killer shows at such renowned festivals as Maryland Deahfest (USA), Way of Darkness (Germany), Killtown Deathfest (Denmark) and Altavoz (Colombia). However, 2012 didn't start too well for the band, which immersed in writing process for a new album, had to take the difficult decision of parting way with their drummer Riky. Just one month later, Osckar joined the band as the new drummer and Avulsed continued working, harder than ever, writing new material to complete the band's 6th full length album "Ritual Zombi" which was recorded during the first half of 2013 and being released in September 1st on a never-seen-before orchestrated simultaneous release in 10 different releases (7on CD, one on 12"LP, one on cassette and digital) on 9 different labels around the world.

After an extensive tour presenting the "Ritual Zombi" album, in July 2014 the band decided again to part ways with their drummer Osckar and immediately found a replacement on Erik Raya, with whom they continued touring and released the highly acclaimed EP "Altar of Disembowelment" in September 2015 followed by a full european tour together with NATRON & PRION. In December 2015, Erik was replaced by Arjan Van der Wijst who started to play live immediately after and with whom the band recorded (during Spring 2016) the 25th anniversary double album "Deathgeneration" that was released in November 2016. In that year, the band toured China and played lots of spanish shows and several big summer festivals around Spain and Europe and in 2017 there was an European tour (April) atogether with MERCYLESS & SAVAGE ANNIHILATION. In April 2017, the band released a double live album on 2CD+DVD entitled "Night of the Living Deathgenerations", recorded during their special 25th anniversary show that took place in Madrid on 19.11.2016 and a split 7”EP with MERCYLESS.

2017 & 2018 sees Avulsed playing shows and festivals all over Spain, Europe (Russia, Portugal, Holland, UK, Germany…) and Mexico while writing new material for their 8th studio album to be recorded during 2019 for a 2020 release. In November 2018, drummer Arjan was replaced by Rafae Aritmendi who will take his duties in the composition of the new album as well as live shows as a full time member of the band.

Mercyful Fate is a heavy metal band from Copenhagen, Denmark. The band was formed by vocalist King Diamond and guitarist Hank Shermann in 1981. The original MF line-up shared members with another Copenhagen band, Danger Zone, whom Diamond and Shermann were helping out. Influenced by progressive rock and hard rock, and with lyrics dealing with Satan and the occult, Mercyful Fate were part of the first wave of black metal in the early to mid-1980s. Many of the bands from this movement went on to influence later black metal musicians in the 1990s, particularly in Norway. Mercyful Fate are widely considered one of the originators of the black metal sub-genre. By 1982, the "classic" Mercyful Fate line up of Diamond, Shermann, guitarist Michael Denner (ex-Brats and Danger Zone), bassist Timi "Grabber" Hansen (Danger Zone), and drummer Kim Ruzz was in place. Over the next couple years, the band would release an EP and 2 LPs that would cement their reputation as one the most influential metal bands of the early 1980s. King Diamond's blasphemous lyrics and theatrical stage presence would have many label the band as part of the 1st wave of black metal, although musically the band was closer to the style of Judas Priest or Iron Maiden. The group split in 1985, as Shermann decided he wanted to pursue a more commercial direction. King Diamond launched a solo career, taking Denner and Hansen with him, while Kim Ruzz disappeared into the regular world.

The band's legend continued to grow after their split. In 1993, the classic line up, minus Kim Ruzz, reformed for a new album, "In The Shadows". Hansen dropped out after that release but the group continued on throughout the 1990s. At the same time, King Diamond kept his own solo career going. Michael Denner left the band after 1996's "Into The Unknown" and Diamond and Sherman continued on with new players. 1999's "9" is, to date, the band's last full-length release. King Diamond has stated that MF has not split up but the band is on hold for the foreseeable future. In 2009, Diamond, Shermann, Denner, Hansen, and drummer Bjarne Holm (who has played with the group since 1994) reunited to re-record the songs "Evil" and "Curse Of The Pharoah" for the "Guitar Hero: Metallica" video game.

In 2019, the group announced they would be playing a series of live dates. The line up would include Diamond, Sherman, Wead, Holm, and bassist Joey Vera (filling in for Timi Hansen, who was battling cancer). Timi Hansen lost his battle with cancer on November 4th, 2019.

Dark Funeral - Attera Orbis Terrarum - Part II (2008)

1993 was the year it all began, Lord Ahriman and Blackmoon [1993-1996] founded we now know as Dark Funeral. In January 1994 self-titled and self-financed debut mini album were recorded at Dan Swanös Uni-Sound Studio. It was released upon the un-expecting masses on May 4th the same year. The band quickly established themselves as a band to watch. Since then a lot of things has happened. The line-up has changed, several amazing albums has been released and Dark Funeral has toured no less than 45 different countries with acts as Dimmu Borgir, Cannibal Corpse, Deicide, Immortal and many more.

The album "Diabolis Interium" was nominated as best metal album at P3 Guld awards and in Oct 2002 the band played Singapore as the first foreign band in ten years (Metallica played there in the early 90s).

Their  live album "De Profundis Clamavi ad te Domine" was released in Europe by Regain Records and licensed to several other countries. On January 20th 2005, Dark Funeral signed a new record deal with Regain Records and in late May the band entered Dug Out Studios together with producer Daniel Bergstrand (Meshuggah, In Flames, Strapping Young Lad, Behemoth a.s.o.) and c/o producer Örjan Örnkloo (Misery Loves CO) to begin the work and recording of their new, long awaited Satanic Symphony. The band finally completed their recording session on July 15th, 2005. On Aug 8th, the band returned to Dug Out Studios to lay down the final vocal parts and do the final mixing of the album. Finally, on August the 18th, 2005 Dark Funeral's new Masterpiece "Attera Totus Sanctus" was completed. It was released on October 24th, 2005. Upon the release the album climbed straight up on the Swedish Metal chart as NR #3.

After touring the world in support of their latest “Attera Totus Sanctus” album , they finally released their first ever DVD (2-disc´s)"Attera Orbis Terrarum-part 1 on October 15th". The DVD landed as Nr 5 on the Swedish Music DVD chart. This is the first DVD in a series of two which the band planned to release from their world touring for Attera Totus Sanctus.

Dark Funeral begin 2008 by announcing a release date for their second DVD set, "Attera Orbis Terrarum - Part 2". The 2-disc DVD was released on October 20 through Regain Records. This is the second in a series of two DVDs featuring material that was recorded during the band's worldwide touring for "Attera Totus Sanctus.". While Part 1 focuses on European shows, part two focuses on South American shows, where the band has a fanatical following.

In 1988, Dagon formed the thrash metal band Guillotina in Cali, Colombia. The band possessed a thrash metal sound on its earliest recordings. The band changed their name to Inquisition in 1989 and released their debut on vinyl 12"EP "Anxious Death" playing the ancient sound of the Thrash Metal in the old Sodom/Kreator vein; the musical style was a bit different but the ideology has been always the same: Total Darkness and Philosophies of Wisdom.

In 1993 the second production was released on full-length tape format which was named "Forever Under", also in the path of violent Thrash Metal Music and in the old Dark Angel/Kreator vein. The band continued with their thrash sound until about 1994, when they evolved into a black metal band.

In 1996 Dagon left Colombia for the US and met Incubus who joined on drums.
