Slayer - Show No Mercy (1983) [Remastered] (2000)

Originally released: 3rd December 1983 in the US by Metal blade Records.

Slayer was the opening act for Bitch at the Woodstock Club, L.A., performing eight songs (six of them covers). While performing an Iron Maiden cover "Phantom of the Opera", the band was spotted by Brian Slagel who had recently founded Metal Blade Records. He met with the band backstage and asked them to participate on the upcoming Metal Massacre Volume III and the band agreed. This appearance created underground buzz, which led to Slagel signing contract the band with Metal Blade Records.

The album was self-financed by the savings of Tom Araya, who was employed as a respiratory therapist, and money borrowed from Kerry King's father. On recording the drums, Slagel wanted drummer Dave Lombardo to play without using cymbals due to the amount of noise they made, as he was unsure if he could siphon the noise out, which he eventually did.

Touring extensively promoting the album, the band brought close friends and family members along the trip, who helped backstage with lighting and sound.

"Evil Has No Boundaries" Gene Hoglan, later known as the drummer for bands like Dark Angel and Death, provided backing vocals on the song.

Kevin Reed, a friend of the band, set up the drums and lighting when touring with the band. Reed's father, Lawrence R. Reed, drew the Minotaur (Cretan mythical creature) with a sword on the album's cover.

Although the album was criticized for its poor production quality, it became Metal Blade's highest-selling release and one of the best-selling independent records of all time. 5.000 copies was the label's average.. Show No Mercy went on to sell between 15,500 and 20,000 copies in the United States, it also went on to sell more than 15,000 overseas, as Metal Blade had worldwide rights

Show No Mercy was met with polarized opinions when it was issued, but in some recent reviews it came to be considered a classic album.

Some reissues include extra track(s): "Aggressive Perfector" (originally recorded for the compilation Metal Massacre Volume III in 1983), "Chemical Warfare" or the EP Haunting The Chapel.

Cannibal Corpse - Worm Infested [ep] (2002)

Worm Infested is the second EP by the death metal band Cannibal Corpse, it was released on July 1, 2003, through the Metal Blade Records record company. Worm Infested is a compilation EP recorded during 1996-2001, it includes unpublished songs of his authorship written and composed in 2003 and three covers.

Members from earlier Buffalo-area death metal bands Beyond Death (Alex Webster, Jack Owen), Tirant Sin (Paul Mazurkiewicz, Chris Barnes, Bob Rusay), and Leviathan (Barnes) established the band in December 1988. The band played its first show at Buffalo's River Rock Cafe in March 1989, shortly after recording a five-song self-titled demo tape. Within a year of the first gig, the band was signed to Metal Blade Records, apparently after the label had heard the demo tape that the manager of the record store at which Barnes was working sent in. Their full-length death metal debut album, Eaten Back to Life, was released in August 1990. Inspired by and seeking the new commercial and recording opportunities of the emerging Florida death metal scene, the band relocated to Tampa.

The band has had several lineup changes. In February 1993, founding member and guitarist Bob Rusay was dismissed from the group (after which he became a golf instructor) and was ultimately replaced by Malevolent Creation guitarist Rob Barrett. In 1995, during recording sessions for a new album, singer Chris Barnes was dismissed because of personal differences with the rest of the band and was replaced by Monstrosity singer George "Corpsegrinder" Fisher. Barnes went on to perform with the band Six Feet Under and, later, Torture Killer.

Legion - Mind Training + Por La Cara (1990)

Se destacan temas como Beyond Betrayal, Bag Full Of Meat, They Call Me War, This Can’t Be Real...
