Imbrue ‎- Cado Datur Verbs (2005)

 

All the members of Imbrue have played in other bands before forming Imbrue. Jovi, Reolid and Oscar played in Ephel Duath [black metal band], Oscar and Rodri played in the beginning in Bimorphia [doom-death band], Reolid has played in Kruzial and Irredemption, Jovi has also played in an orchestra and Candi was singing a few months in Irredemption. 

Imbrue was formed in April 2000, but its precedents are in a band called Ephel Duath that they were doing then black metal of a style similar to the Scandinavian, although before they were like Imbrue but with a less brutal style than the current one. Everything arose after some changes of formation that allowed them greater speed and brutality in their music, the founding components of Imbrue are Reolid and Jovi, to which Oscar and Rodri later joined, with this formation they recorded the MCD "Hybris" and in December 2001 he joined the band as vocalist Candy. In 2006 they release their debut album with Necromance Records titled "Cado Datur Verbs".

Lost Soul - Scream of The Mourning Star (2000)

 

Lost Soul is the pride of Polish death metal, standing in one line with such acts as Behemoth or Vader. The band was set up in 1991, released two demos and at the end on previous decade signed a deal with Relapse Records for the release of “Scream of The Mourning Star”. In 2003 the second offering - “Übermensch (Death of God)” is released via Osmose. Four years after “Chaostream” (via Earache/Wicked World), Lost Soul is back stronger than ever with new ideas and new line-up. In their long history Lost Soul played live with such acts as Samael, Vader, Monstrosity, Vomitory, Rotting Christ, Entombed, Decapitated.

With renewed line-up Lost Soul recorded their fourth album “Immerse In Infinity”. The release date was set for October 6th. During upcoming weeks the band will be taking shots for “If The Dead Can Speak” video with Endorfina Film. Cover and artwork is being prepared by Mentalporn (Deathstars, Behemoth).

Prepare yourself for 8 crushing anthems (57 minutes) of monumental extreme death metal in vein of Nile, Hate Eternal, Vital Remains.

1990: Inception of Lost Soul.
1993: Band's first demo "Eternal Darkness" is issued.
1994: The band records their second demo "Superior Ignotum" at Fors Music Studio (Czech Republic). The recording has been heard by just several people, we shall try to re-issue it in future.
1995: Signing a contract with "Baron Records" results in another attempt
to record "Superior Ignotum" at Digital Studio (Wroclaw).
1997: Lost Soul works on new material.
1998: The band records a four-song demo at Selani Studio (Olsztyn), which later appears on Relapse's Records "Polish Assault" (with Decapitated) and Novum Vox Mortis "Disco's out, Slaughter's In" with Dissenter.
1999: Lost Soul sign contract with Relapse Records and issue their debut LP, recorded at Fonoplastykon Studio.
2000: Band's first album "Scream of the Mourning Star" (Relapse Records/Metal Mind Productions) is released.
2001: Lost Soul work on their second album. The band signs a contract with Empire Records.
2002: "Ubermensch" is recorded in Wroclaw  at  Tower Studio. It is out on Empire Records soon after. Lost Soul play 10 concerts during Thrash'em All Festival, together with Mostrosity and Vomitory.
2003: Lost Soul's first appearance at Metalmania Festival alongside with Samael and Vader. "Übermensch" is released worldwide courtesy of Osmose Productions.
2004: The band record "Chaostream" at Hertz Studio (Białystok). Lost Soul go on tour with Vader, Ceti and Crionics during Blitzkrieg 2.
2005: "Chaostream" is out in Poland courtesy of Empire Records and worldwide thanks to Earache Records/Wicked World, to which the band signs. Lost Soul play during an European tour called "Mega Strike In Chaos Tour" together with Sanatorium and Fleshgore. Then they play 10 concerts at British "Summer Tour" with Vader and finally Blitzkrieg III - 48 concerts in Europe with Vader, Rotting Christ and Anorexia Nervosa and several festivals with Nile, Entombed and Decapitated. 2005 ends with Lost Soul's performance at charity concert in memory of Docent, the late Vader's drummer.
2006: Various on tour experiences from 2005 made Jacek Grecki sensibly start thinking of changing Lost Soul's line-up and have better musicians by his side.
2007: Eight new songs were created in two weeks of July.
2008: Jacek and Damian (Lost Soul bassist since 2004) found a great drummer. The band starts rehearsals in September. Apart from the music, Jacek wrote all the lyrics for the new album called "Immerse in Infinity".
2009: Domin joins the band. Desecrate records drum tracks between 9 and 16 February at Progresja Studio (Warsaw). Between 17 and 20 February the tracks were edited at Hertz Studio. From 23 to 30 March Jacek recorded his guitar tracks at both Top Secret Studio and Hellsound Studio (Wroclaw). Between 14 and 30 April Czajnik recorded bass tracks and Jacek did all the vocal parts and solos. 8-12 June Lost Soul, with careful supervision of Wieslawski Bros., put finishing touches to the mix of their fourth studio release "Immerse in Infinity". On 11 July the band signs a deal for two successive albums with Polish label Witching Hour Productions. Nine days later Wieslawski Bros. start album's mastering process. The street date of "Immerse in Infinity" is set to 6 October, 2009. The album was greatly acclaimed by the fans and media all over the world. Many Polish magazines voted "Immerse in Infinity" the album of 2009, surpassing new releases form Behemoth and Vader. Lost Soul's new album received better notes than Nile in many parts of the world. 24 December 2009 Lost soul released their first ever video clip for the song "If the dead can speak".
2010: Promotion of "Immerse in Infinity" during Aealo Tour concerts (alongside Rotting Christ). The band played dozens of festivals, XV Brutal Assault among others. Reviews, interviews and splits appear in best music magazines all over the world.
2011: The band records their anniversary album "Genesis XX Years of chaoZ" (the last band's releasefor WHP), and plays several dozen gigs. The band's core members Jacek and Damian, sensing a lack of dedication  from  the  remaining  bandmates,  decide  to  join  forces  with Marek Gołaś (guitar) and Jonathan Garofoli (drums), who soon proved to be the right people to hit it big.
2012: Lost  Soul's  new  line  up  came  up  with  songs  for  their  new  full-length, and reinvented their stage presence. Witching Hour Productions announced plans to the release the band's anniversary album in December 2012.
2013: Anniversary album "Genesis-XX Years of Chaoz"is out. Lost Soul has fulfilled the contract and is currently looking for a new label. Between April to June the band recorded drums, guitars and bassfor the new album. Because of the severe accident of vocalist Jacek Grecki, vocal recordings were postponed to January 2014.
2014: The band just finished mastering of the new album "Atlantis–The New Beginning" in Hertz Recording Studios with Wieslawski Bros.
2015: New album “Atlantis: The New Beginning” is released via Apostasy Records.

Balmog - Svmma Fide (Demo '14) / Vacvvm (Demo '17)

Balmog was founded in 2003 in Soutomaior (Pontevedra, Galicia) with the idea of creating a project of Black Metal decrepit, misanthropic and crude with Death as a standard,  in the style of the old Nordic bands of the early / mid 90's but also they have Death Metal influences, but it will not be until 2006 when they edit their first material, the demo The Discipline and Poetry of Pest. 
 After that edition the band begins to give their first concerts for Galicia and Portugal. The following year, in 2007, two new editions came to light, the Pestilent Rats for your Moribund Children demo and the 7 "Nausea.Two years later two new splits will be released, on the one hand Necroangels Revelations with the Galicians also Aboriorth, released in cassette format (later reissued on vinyl and cd) and Mors atque Odium with the Italians Deathrow.After these editions and several concerts throughout the Iberian Peninsula Balmog begins to work on the composition of the first album, Testimony of the Abominable, published in 2012. From those same sessions of recording will also be the theme for the one shared with the Spanish band Amnion . In those years the group concentrates in taking the disc to the greater number of scenes by the main state and Portuguese cities, as well as in realizing a minitour by several localities in Germany.

 In 2015 they edit Svmma Fide, recorded at the Moontower Studios of Terrassa with J.Bastard and mastered at the Necromorbus Studios in Sweden...

Haemorrhage, Paganizer, Machetazo, Nashgul (2006.12.02)

 

Haemorrhage were formed in 1990 as Devourment, began its life as a trio, with Jose on bass and vocals, Luisma on guitar, and Emilio on drums, though this only lasted until the summer of 1991, when Emilio left the band. The group soon reformed, this time as duo, with Luisma again playing the role of guitarist and Jose taking over as drummer, with both performing vocals, and released their first demo as Haemorrhage, Grotesque Embryopathology. Near the end of 1993, Lugubrious and Ramon joined the band as vocalist and bassist, respectively. Between 1994 and 1995, Haemorrhage recorded a seven song promo tape, which was sent to Morbid Records and resulted in a two-album contract, welcomed guitarist Ana, and recorded their first release, Emetic Cult. However, Jose left in the following year due to personal issues and was replaced by Rojas. After releasing five studio albums on Morbid Records the band gets signed to Relapse Records which put out their new disc "Hospital Carnage".

Haemorrhage are, like many goregrind bands, heavily influenced by Carcass, yet still have an identity all their own. Live shows typically feature band members sporting surgeon's outfits and vocalist Lugubrious covered in blood, which is common in the goregrind scene. Artwork is almost exclusively done by guitarist Luisma.

Paganizer started out as a four piece in late 1998 when Rogga and former drummer Jocke decided to start up a new band playing some old school Thrash/Death. Rogga and Jocke got in touch with some friends for guitar and bass playing (Dea and Diener) and recorded their first demo just a month later. That demo led to a deal with Malaysian label Psychic Scream Entertainment and Paganizer went on to record their debut CD "Deadbanger" which was released 1999.

However, Paganizer had lost their concept since Rogga was busy with other projects and didn't write the music so the debut ended up being a bit too retro Thrash. During 2000 drummer Jocke left Paganizer due to a back injury and the band was more or less put on hold until Psychic Scream wanted another CD. Motivated once again Rogga got in touch with a drummer from another local band and in three weeks had written and recorded a new album. This time Rogga wrote 95% of the music again so the Death was put back in the Metal. After recording the CD Psychic Scream got into censorship trouble in Asia and the CD was delayed. The band decided to search for another label with the consent of Psychic Scream. The search ended when Paganizer was introduced to Forever Underground Records.

With a secure line-up and a new record label Paganizer's second album "Promoting Total Death" was unleashed on June 26th, 2001. Paganizer began writing new material for another full length almost immediately after the release of "Promoting Total Death". From July 2001 to April 2002 the band wrote new material and refined their sound aswell as added a fourth member to the band. With the addition of a fourth man Paganizer's sound became more complex, more full and more brutal. The band's third release "Dead Unburied", was recorded at renowned Sunlight Studio and released in summer 2002 again through Forever Underground. This album shattered all their previous material and earned them much needed attention from the underground leading them to a deal with the newly created label Xtreem Music (ex-Repulse Rec.) for the release of their 4th opus.

Work as usual began immediatly afterwards to bring forth the fourth Paganizer album entitled "Murder Death Kill". Recorded and produced by Mieszko Talarzcyk (Nasum) at his infamous Soundlab Studio and the mastered by Dan Swanö this album has recieved praise from almost everyone who's reviewed it. Half this album was recorded as a threepiece as Dea decided to leave the band and later on Patrik Halvarsson from Blodsrit joined in on second guitar. However also Oskar Nilsson shortly after was out of the band due to lacking motivation again leaving the band as a trio.

This lead the band to decide to continue with only three members with Patrik handling the live and studio bass duties from now on. This lineup recorded the fifth Paganizer album entitled "No Divine Rapture" which by the way is the first Paganizer album not having the word Dead or Death in the title... However the music has not changed at all and is even deadlier now. Released in July again by Xtreem Music, "No Divine Rapture" is Paganizer's heaviest and most brutal work to date.

Solekahn - The Great Divider (2004)

 

Solekahn is a death metal band from France established in 1998 with Olivier DB (vocals/guitars), Cédric LK (drums) and Algar (bass). After some poor recordings and local concerts their first real demo “Profaned Nights” saw the light in 1999.

In 2001 Algar left the band and was replaced by Eric BR on bass & keys.

January 2002 : the first MCD was released on Imperial Maze and titled “Suffering Winds”. It has been amazingly welcomed by worldwide metal critics and brought tons of positive feedbacks. The Suffering Fall Tour took place at the end of that year and the band reached Germany, Switzerland and France.

Several months after the release of “Suffering Winds”, the band got in touch with French label Sacral Productions to sign with them in early 2003 for the release of their first album entitled “The Great Divider” at the beginning of 2004. Like previous releases and even better, this album has been extremely well welcomed by both medias and fans and was followed by a tour in France and Switzerland.

After 9 years of relative silence Solekahn still goes forwards with their unique and varied music and the band recently signed a deal with Danish label Mighty Music to release their second full-length album “Nightlights” throughout Europe on October 14th, 2013.

Achieving a worthy follower to “The Great Divider” was not an easy task. As this second album was recorded between 2006 and 2012. Six years during which the band had time to transcend their own dark atmosphere in order to deliver their best effort by now.

“Nightlights” appears as a dark glow in the night, a dark sound from below that enlightens the minds.

Devilyn - Artefact (2001)

The group was founded in 1992 in Tarnów on the initiative of guitarist Łukasz Luboń and bassist Marcin Nowak. Until 1995, the group was conducted under the name of Cerebral Concussion.

The idea of ​​founding Devilyn was born in the head of Novy and Bony in 1992. However, the specific actions took place a little later, when the musicians mastered their instruments a bit better (Novy bas, Bony guitar), that is to say, the end of 1993/1994. The first members were: Novy - bass, vocals; Bons - guitar; Piotr - guitar; Kuba - drums. At that time, the band was called Cerebral Concussion. These musicians recorded the demo tape "The Rule", which was promoted underground in Poland and beyond.

1996 is the decision to record a great record and sign a contract. Thanks to Mariusz Kmiołek, the band signed a contract with the French company Listenable (for two albums) and changed its name to Devilyn. In the world, the group made its phonographic debut with the material "Anger". Thanks to very good reviews, Devilyn toured Europe together with Cannibal Corpse and Krabathor in 1998. Also in 1998, the band recorded another material, which received the title "Reborn In Pain". Unfortunately, during the next two years the band did not give concerts, and the album was not promoted properly. There were also personal problems.

In 2000, there were serious changes in the composition of Devilyn. Piotr, Kuba and the guitarist of the session Borówa said goodbye to the band. In their place came Basti (drums) and Dino (guitar), both also playing in the spinal cord. Already with these musicians in the composition, thanks to the help of Michał Wardzala (Mystic Production) Devilyn signed a contract with Pastic Head - Blackend. Until the end of 2001, the album recognized as the best in Devilyn's production - "Artefact" - was released.

However, the peace in Devilyn's ranks did not last long. As a result of misunderstandings in 2002, only Bony, the founder of Devilyn, remains on the team. Novy moves permanently to Vader, while Dino and Basti concentrate on the game of the spinal cord. After a while, the band is fortunately new musicians that also have an impact on the creation of the new album "XI".

The new five-member band consists of: Bony (guitar), Cyprian (bass), Imp (drums), Erian (guitar), Michał (vocal). The quintet in 2004 played some concerts in Poland and abroad. The album "XI", which will be released at the end of February and March 2005, will launch the label Conquer Records.

As part of the promotion of the album, the band made a joint tour in Finland, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia with Neolith.A big surprise for the musicians was the attendance to concerts in Finland and Latvia. More than 1500 people saw the route.
  
In 2007, the health problems of the co-founder of Devilyn Bony forced the suspension of the band's activities.
