Defuntos - Nada É Eterno (2009)

Created in 2004, Defuntos is a Portuguese "underground project" of two people: Conde F (vocals, drums) and Conde J (bass). The project was founded in 2005. From the Portuguese "Defuntos" translates as "dead".

The first demo, entitled "Mundo de Lapides", was recorded in 2006 and released by the Portuguese record label Hell War in a small edition of 250 copies.

After recording a demo album, the boys signed a contract with True Face of Evil, who at the end of November 2007 released their debut album, entitled "Sangue Morto". The release was also released in cassette format in a limited edition of 222 copies by Dunkelheit Produktionen.

Later, in January 2008, Egg of Nihilism Productions released the EP "Um sofrimento distante" in a limited edition of 500 copies. And in early December of the same year, Dunkelheit Produktionen released their second full-length album, ''A Negra Vastidão das Nossas Almas'', in a limited edition of 500 copies, also released on cassette with the assistance of Bubonic Productions.

2009 was marked by the fruitful work of the group. This year, Defuntos released the EP "Os Suplícios de uma Triste Lembrança" in a small print run of 411 copies through the German label Necromancer Records. In early August of the same year, the boys appeared on the split album "Florestas de Perpétua Solidão" together with the Australian project Striborg. The release was released in collaboration with Sabbath's Fire Records, Infernal Kommando Records, and Dunkelheit Produktionen. Later, in December of the same year, Dunkelheit Produktionen released their third studio album, "Nada é Eterno", in a limited edition of 500 copies, with an A1 poster included in the first 100 copies.

At the beginning of April 2010, the material for the fourth studio album entitled "Invocação aos Mortos" was ready, the release was published in a small edition of 100 copies on the Bubonic Productions label. In early November of the same year, the fifth LP, "Luto Perpétuo", was released in a digital package and CD format.

By 2011, Defuntos had recorded and prepared new material, which is reflected in the demo album "Restos De Uma Vida Antiga", implemented by the American record company Cocainacopia. The statement was published on February 1, 2011.

Defuntos is a legacy of the Portuguese Black Metal scene. It was learned that they even gave a demo concert together with other Portuguese bands: Inverno Eterno and Bosque (the date of the concert is unknown).

Black Witchery - Live Desecration Ritual [December, 2001] (2010)

Changed their name to Black Witchery due to ambiguous circumstances concerning Witchery from Sweden.
The band was formed in 1996 out of the ashes of the US black/death obscure cult Irreverent (formed by Impurath in 1990)...to sole intention of Black Witchery's existence is to crush the current weak minded black metal circle of pathetic losers with no mercy and to exalt the eternal True Satanic Elite with blasphemous hymns of power, darkness, evil and hatred.
Originally incarnates as a two piece band (with Impurath and ex Irreverent member Darkwolf, under the name Witchery), a promo and demo were released and soon thereafter, Darkwolf left the band due to musical differences...Impurath then summoned Tregenda and Vaz to form the current unholy trinity and accepted the Black Witchery name as the new line up was far more intense and brutal; leaving the melodic sound of Darkwolf's style behind them...the band released  an impromptu ep (Summoning of Infernal Legions) and then the infamous "Hellstorm of Evil vengeance" split lp/cd (Dark Horizon Records-1998) with the Ross Bay heathens Conqueror (rip)....this split showed the band's fury and dark brutality and earned them a great deal of respect as being one of the few true black metal bands the US has spawned...the band also earned a reputation of being one of the most violent and destructive live bands ever and played several bestial shows to confirm this (the most notable being 2 separate shows (2000/2001) with gods of war Blasphemy in Canada-the first US black metal band ever to travel to Vancouver for such an abomination)...the band then entered the studio to record it's sinister debut, "Desecration of the holy kingdom" for Fullmoon productions...the album was a complete and utter holocaust of black speed desecration metal fury and was widely claimed as one of the best newer black metal albums in many years and also the most destructive and soul ripping cd/lp ever to be released by a US band....the band continued their deathmarch of live attacks  through the US and Europe and achieved many rabid fans and heretic supporters.

The band was then signed to Osmose Productions who released the second malicious attack in the form of "Upheaval of Satanic Might" ...this album followed the path of it's predecessor but displayed the band in an even more violent and barbaric fashion ....with more traditional hymns and unrelenting darkness and savagery, this album easily entered into the ranks of being  another demonic entity that would serve as a monument of real ugly, raw and grim black metal in the true style of darkness which is found rarely these days... "Upheaval..." was recorded and produced entirely by the band (with help of longtime heathen comrade Kris Cook (who had worked with the band on the split years ago)...this gave the band the ability to properly obtain their vision without the presence of the music industry leeches ideas...complete with grim and horrific Moyen cover and demonic anthems such as "Holocaust Summoning", "Blood Oath" and "Heretic Death Call", the album has once again proved Black Witchery to be the most desecrating and savage black metal band in the US by far.

Inquisition - Invoking the Majestic Throne of Satan (2002)

In 1988 Dagon formed the thrash metal band Guillotina in Cali, Colombia. However, no demos were ever recorded and no official releases have surfaced yet. While there is a rehearsal that may appear into the underground one day, there is also a videotape of the band's live debut 1988 when they opened for Nemesis and Reencarnación. The band continued with their thrash sound until about 1994, when they evolved into a black metal band.

In April 1996, Dagon left Colombia and moved back to the United States to continue Inquisition and search for a new drummer. That same year Dagon met Incubus, who joined the band on drums and the creation of their debut full-length album began. This line-up has remained stable since then and is now seen as the classic Inquisition line-up.

Inquisition's style of black metal involves slow, deep and dark riffing combined with sudden tempo changes to faster sections based around blast beats and high-speed riffing; at times adding melodic solos. The classic Inquisition sound involves the combination of old school thrash metal-influenced riffs with darker and more chaotic black metal, primarily involving fast, tremolo picked minor-key guitar riffs, thus creating the trademark "Inquisition sound".

Dagon is of Colombian mother and American father, and originally from the United States, but had moved to Colombia. Inquisition's early records were first released in Colombia and it was there that they first performed live playing alongside bands such as Reencarnación, among others.

According to an interview with Heavy Metal Home TV, Inquisition had a bass player in 1998 (most likely Debandt) but he was kicked out due to drug-related problems.

Krisiun - Southern Storm (2008)

All three members Moyses, Max, and Alex are brothers. Alex uses his father's surname, Camargo, whereas his brothers use their mother's surname, Kolesne. On the EP Unmerciful Order, all three brothers are credited with the surname Kolesne.

The band was once a four-piece for a very short period of time before deciding that they worked better as a three-piece after Mauricio Nogueira left forming the trio which has stayed constant to this day.

The band's name Krisiun is based upon the "Mare Crisiun" (sea of crises), a moon crater. It plays a major role in Arthur C. Clarke's sci-fi novel The Sentinel, which was later partly adopted to become the well known movie "2001: A Space Odyssey."

Machetazo - The Maggot Sessions [EP] (2003)

Machetazo were formed in La Coruña, Spain in 1994 as a side project of two other death metal bands from the area. Initially, they were more noisecore-oriented than grindcore. They recorded two demos, 46 Cabezas Aplastadas por un Yunque Oxidado in 1995, and Realmente Disfruto Comiendo Cadáveres in 1997. The latter was an international underground success, and in 1999 was remastered by the American label Fudgeworthy Records.

At this point Machetazo stopped being a side project and became a band in its own right, although line-up problems forced them to continue with only two members. They recorded their first album Carne de Cementerio in 1999, which was released by Razorback Records. After this they released numerous split singles. With Dopi as the sole surviving original member together with the new guitarist Rober, Machetazo recorded their second full length, Trono de Huesos (2002). In this work the band gives tribute to the seminal grind sound in a work in the vein of bands like Carcass or Repulsion. After the recording of Trono de Huesos Machetazo created a more stable line-up, that still exists today: Dopi (drums and vocals); Carlos "Cadaver" (bass and vocals); and Rober (guitar).

After testing this line-up with two singles, Machetazo released their third full length in 2005, Sinfonías del Terror Ciego, a concept album about the Spanish film maker Amando de Ossorio. This record brought them to a wider audience than ever before and 2006 was a year of intense touring and projects. They released a split single with Total Fucking Destruction on the American label Relapse in 2006. In July 2008 they released their album Mundo Cripta, with a more death sound, sharper, but still retaining the essence of Machetazo. In late 2008, Carlos Cadaver left the band. Santi from the grindcore band Nashgul, was the new bass player.

In 2010 Santi left the band and the group returned to remain as a duo recording an album of covers titled Necrocovered that includes covers of bands like Carnivore, Master, Darkthrone, Kreator, Corrupted, Septic Death and Obituary counting on diverse collaborations to the voices of different members of friendly bands. At the end of 2010 he joins the band as a bassist for Iñaki's live from Looking For An Answer, Moho or Dishammer.

After several splits and EP's, the band released their fifth album titled Ruin in 2013, a record that returns them to a certain extent to their more direct beginnings of Trono de Huesos but experiencing a little more showing a more facet Doom metal in certain cuts of the disc, is their darkest record, direct and negative to date in both music and lyrics.Months after the release of Ruin, Iñaki abandoned his position as bassist to direct Iago Alvite as a new bassist and a permanent member of studio and live, which had already played in other local bands like Frustación.The band dissolves in July 2014.
